Founder

Bob Goldberg

Bob brings to the firm proven legal experience and a strong commitment to continued learning and professional and community engagement.

Before starting Robert M. Goldberg & Associates, Bob Goldberg spent five years working as a commercial litigator with prestigious law firms in Kentucky and Pennsylvania. Bob has tried numerous jury trials and pursued appeals to the Supreme Courts of Georgia, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania as well as the Georgia Court of Appeals. Always a champion for his clients best interests, Bob’s broad experience has given him the judgment to counsel clients about their best options under the most difficult of circumstances.

Bob began his private practice in 1995 as a “country lawyer” working on criminal and commercial litigation. Since 1999, his focus has been on estate planning and elder law. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Wealth Counsel, Elder Counsel, and is accredited by the Veterans Administration. Bob continues to keep on top of recent developments through his commitment to ongoing education in both estate planning and elder law.

Bob married his wife, Kimberley, in 1995. They have two sons, Simon and Seth, who have recently graduated from college and are busy making their way in the world. When he’s not working with clients, Bob likes geocaching, reading, orienteering, and running.

Office Manager

Kimberley Goldberg

A true Kentucky filly, Kimberley was born on Derby Day in Louisville, the home of the Kentucky Derby. She met Bob at Barnes & Noble, and they married in 1995. Since then, Kimberley and Bob have worked side-by-side, building a strong family and successful law practice. Kimberley is responsible for all the small details which make the practice run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. She has created a warm, welcoming atmosphere so you will feel right at home when you meet with us. Her training and experience in floral design and artistic touch assures everything in the office is in top shape looking perfect for the team and our clients. Kimberley also loves animals and takes care to ensure Henry, the firm’s Chief Love Officer, is fed, groomed, and receive veterinary care.

When she isn’t working in the office, Kimberley runs the Goldberg home which includes two sons, Simon and Seth, Henry, the family dog, and two cats. She enjoys, snow skiing, going to the gym, orienteering, and relaxing on the beach (or really anywhere) with a glass of Pinot Grigio.
